They take control of the situation by immediately freezing Tucker out, even to the point of blaming him for Kay's collapse. Later Tucker looks on as the family gathers around Kay with him on the outside looking in as it's found out that Kay had the collapse due to fatigue and dehydration.

Tucker arrives at Katherine's to be there for Chance's funeral. Tucker meets his half brother Brock Reynolds, when the officer in charge of the military end of Chance's funeral shows up to take the family to the church. At the church Tucker plays largely atmosphere until everyone returns to the Chancellor Estate for the reception. There Tucker and Neil begin discussing Tucker's 'be nice' policy between he and Sophia when Neil brings up the issue of Katherine looking somewhat frail, tho which Tucker issues his concern for his mother. Outside the mansion, Tucker and Ashley take a little time for themselves where Ashley discusses missing Colleen and her love for Abby. Later, Tucker approaches Katherine, asking her to take it easy and to watch her health. Katherine becomes emotional, thinking a lot of Chance and her son when she collapses in Tucker's arms. Tucker is at Crimson Lights where he meets Jill where the two engage in a dance of double entendres before Tucker has a meeting with JT. During the meeting with JT, Tucker pulls in a favour when he asks JT to spy on Victoria's files for a deal Newman Enterprises made with a Japanese company. JT at first refuses when Tucker informs him that it was because of him that JT got full custody of Reed. Reluctantly, JT goes to the ranch where he attempts to access Victoria's computer. Later back at Crimson Lights, Jill and Tucker spar some more before Billy arrives and re-hires his mother to do some digging into Tucker's past dealings. Tucker meets with JT once more.

Jill and Billy prepare to print the cover story of Tucker's payola past, when Jill begs off to go talk to Katherine. Jill then confronts Katherine with a deal that she will hold off on printing the Restless Style cover story on Tucker, if she will demand that Tucker take her on back at CI. After telling Billy to kill the story, Jill heads back to the office. Tucker returns to Katherine after making some phone calls in her office, where Katherine asks for one more thing from Tucker that Jill spies from outside.

Tucker and Ashley confront Victor at the Genoa City Athletic Club over the gun Victoria took to Japan to use to bribe the building commissioner. Victor blows it all off telling Tucker and Ashley they're barking up the wrong tree even though they presented proof in the form of photos from the link Jill sent Tucker. Later after Victor's departure while still at the GCAC, Tucker decides he and Ashley are going to bust the party for the opening of Gloworm, Gloria's new club she and Jeffrey bought from Neil. When they arrive Tucker and Ashley find Abby in a large champagne glass in her underwear. After fishing her out Ashley confronts her daughter over her behaviour while Tucker acts as support. ***NOTE:*** I've included a Snuggle commercial because I think the bear is just so cute....sorry.****

Tucker comes by the Abbott estate to see Ashley who is living in the poolhouse since Abby kicked her out of her house. There he confronts Ashley about her not taking his messages, texts.... Ashley is acting very indifferent to Tucker as she tells him she's not interested in him. Tucker pleads with her to remember what happened at the airport when she tried to escape with Faith, then when they made that video of Ashley with Faith before she handed the baby over to Sharon, and finally, about that night in Japan. Ashley again tries to act as if it didn't matter citing that her life is too complicated with Adam's civil suit coming up, to which Tucker admits he doesn't care. Ashley finallY rebukes him sending him away. Not daunted by her rebuff, Tucker returns insistent to get her to see him. Desperation forces Tucker to pick up a chair and hurl it at the door gaining him entrance to the poolhouse. Ashley looks on, scared to get close to Tucker who begs her it's okay...he's okay...they're okay. Finally Ashley gives in and tears into Tucker's clothes trying to get them off as they begin making love. The two of them go down onto the floor where they strip each others clothes off, leaving them in a heap above their heads.

Tucker arrives at Crimson Lights for a coffee when Abby spots him and approaches him on a business offer he can't refuse. Tucker is bemused by Abby's offer of his funding her "Naked Heiress" reality program. Tucker turns her down flat before heading off to Neil's club, Indigo. When Tucker arrives at Indigo, he finds Ashley embracing Neil. Tucker finds out that Neil has broken it off with Ashley in light of wanting to spend more time with Lily, Cane and the newly born twins. Tucker and Ashley leave Indigo and go back to Crimson Lights where they discuss a future. Abby, who is still there with Daniel, spies them in an embrace.
